The task was to design an object with two functions. The second function should not be immediately apparent and should be thoughtfully crafted. The combination of an axe and a saw seemed highly fitting to me.
The goal was to completely conceal the saw blade within the handle. Another requirement was to apply tension to the saw blade to make it functional. To achieve this, I crafted a metal adapter. This adapter allows the saw blade to be securely clamped and extended in and out, enabling it to be used effectively.
